Run and organised by David Headley and Lizzie Curle you know your’e in the hands of people who are passionate about books and bringing the best to those attending, not forgetting those unsung volunteers
Capital Crime returns on Thursday 30 May to Saturday 1st June with a dazzling array of crime authors and panels curated to ensure stimulating and entertaining discussions.
Taking place in the Royal Hotel St Paul’s in London adjecent to St Pauls cathederal, there is something to suit everyones taste

However, it’s not just about the panels, you can rub shoulders with your favourite authors in the bar, hear who has won the Fingerprint awards all voted for by the public only, on the Thursday evening, join in the Friday night quiz hosted by the inimitable AJ West fun guaranteed
There will be book launches, also the launch of the CWA crime month if that wasn’t enough to close the festival on the Saturday evening you can rock the night away in the company of the Fun Lovin’ Crime Writers.
Of there are books to buy, if your’e like me I bring an extra suitcase along, the bookshop is run by Goldsboro books, where the authors will happily sign
Last years festival was the best festival I had ever attended, the first thing I did upon my return home was to book tickets and accomodation for this years, all before any guests had been announced, I knew I was in safe hands.
The hardest part is wondering which panels to be see, I’ve changed my mind several times.
This is a festival built around the reader, you are sure of a warm and inclusive welcome from the moment you walk into the hotel, everyone is friendly even if your’e like me and your own you aren’t for long
London definitely is the place to be, hope to see some of you there.
A book festival run by book people for book people, it would be a crime to miss out.
